Two years after Titan-P6 was released, many customers told us that they wanted the heating cycle to be faster and for it to be easier to start their engines in cold weather.
Although the Titan-P6 relies on gravity for its heating cycle, it does so at a relatively slow rate.
However, if we were to add a water pump to Titan-P6, it would increase its size significantly, which would make it harder for some small vehicles to install the engine heater.
Our engineers suggested redesigning the magnetic pump so that it would fit inside Titan-P6’s structure and still have a smaller profile.
In 1998, Titan-P5 became the first engine block heater with a built-in water pump in China and probably in the world.
The product caused a sensation in the market, and within two years of its launch sales exceeded 700,000 sets.
Nearly six million units of Titan-P5 have been sold since then.
