Inline Engine Block Heater for Trucks and Generators — Titan-P5
2299 in stock
Your truck or generator engine takes the hardest beating when it's cold — tight tolerances, thick oil, and a battery already running low. The Titan-P5 circulates heated coolant through your entire engine block before you ever turn the key, so you get a clean start every time. From 1000W to 3000W, it fits everything from heavy-duty pickups to standby generators.
Built-In Magnetic Pump: Heat Reaches Every Corner of Your Engine
Most coolant heaters rely on thermosiphon — a passive process where hot coolant slowly rises and cold coolant sinks. With the Titan-P5, a built-in magnetic pump pushes heated coolant actively through your entire engine block, so heat doesn't just pool at the bottom.
You get even, consistent warming across cylinders, coolant passages, and the oil sump — not just near the heater. The magnetic pump runs at 900L/hr and is rated for 5,000 hours of operation.
The Titan-P5 has been in production since 1998 — the world's first engine block heater with a built-in circulation pump. Over 25 years later, the same core design is still running in trucks and generators across 50+ countries.
1000W to 3000W: Pick the Right Power for Your Engine
Larger engines hold more coolant and take longer to warm up — a 1000W heater that works fine on a pickup won't cut it on a 15-liter diesel or a standby generator. The Titan-P5 comes in five power levels from 1000W to 3000W, so you match the heater to your actual engine size.
On 110V, available power goes up to 1500W — right for most trucks and pickups. If you need 2000W, 2500W, or 3000W for a large diesel engine or generator set, you'll need a 230V outlet. Both voltage options are available at checkout.
Plug it into a standard outlet 30–60 minutes before startup and your engine is at operating temperature before you turn the key.
Built for Trucks, Generators, and Heavy Equipment
The Titan-P5 is sized for engines that smaller block heaters can't handle — heavy-duty pickups, semi trucks, tractors, off-road construction equipment, and large diesel generators. If your machine needs to be ready in freezing conditions, this is the heater for it.
For standby generators especially, cold starts are a real liability. A generator that takes too long to reach operating temperature in an emergency is a generator that fails when you need it most. The Titan-P5 keeps your coolant warm so the engine fires fast, every time.
At 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) and 8" × 3.7" × 3.2", it installs inline on your existing coolant hoses — no drilling into the block, no engine teardown.
Installation: Inline on Your Coolant Hoses, No Block Drilling Required
The Titan-P5 connects in series or parallel to your existing coolant hoses — no modifications to the engine block, no special tools. Most installs take under an hour.
Three things to get right during installation:
- Mount it at the lowest point of your cooling system — coolant flows by gravity into the heater, so position matters.
- Point the outlet upward — this lets air bubbles escape naturally and prevents dry-running the pump.
- Bleed all air from the heater and hoses before first use — trapped air is the most common cause of installation problems.
Use distilled water in your coolant mix. Tap water leaves mineral deposits that build up inside the pump over time.
The installation process is identical across the entire Titan series. Watch the step-by-step installation guide below — everything shown applies directly to the Titan-P5.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does installation take?
Most installs take 45–90 minutes with basic hand tools. You're cutting into an existing coolant hose, mounting the heater at the lowest point of the cooling system, and connecting a power cord. No drilling into the engine block required.
How long until my engine is warm enough to start?
Plug in 30–60 minutes before startup. The thermostat shuts the heater off automatically at 149°F (65°C), so you don't need to time it precisely — just plug in and let it run.
Can I leave it plugged in overnight?
The thermostat cycles the heater on and off to maintain temperature, but we don't recommend leaving it plugged in overnight. 30–60 minutes before you need the engine is all it takes.
Which power level do I need?
For most heavy-duty pickups and trucks on 110V, 1500W is the right choice. For large diesel engines, generator sets, or very cold climates below -4°F (-20°C), go with 2000W–3000W on 230V.
How long will the Titan-P5 last?
The copper-plated heating tube is rated for 8,000 hours. The magnetic pump is rated for 5,000 hours. Install it correctly the first time and it will run reliably for years.
What coolant should I use?
Use distilled water in your coolant mix. Tap water contains minerals that build up inside the pump and reduce flow over time.
Engine Block Heater Titan-P5 Introduction Video
This video provides a detailed overview of the Vvkb engine block heater Titan-P5 from various angles, giving you a clear and comprehensive understanding of its features. Choosing the Titan-P5 to heat your engine is undoubtedly the right decision.
Vvkb Engine Block Heater Titan-P5 Installation Diagram
The Vvkb engine block heater Titan-P5 can be installed using a series connection to the heater hoses. However, due to its design with the heating element located at the top and the built-in water pump at the bottom, we recommend using a parallel installation method with an auxiliary heater for optimal heating performance.

As the world's first engine block heater with an integrated water pump, the design of this heater is exceptionally efficient. The built-in water pump operates reliably and enhances the distribution of heat generated by the electric heating elements, maximizing thermal efficiency.
Vvkb Engine Block Heater Titan-P5 Inlet & Outlet Schematic
The electrical components of the heater, including the built-in water pump and temperature controller, are strategically located at the base, which also serves as the water inlet. Cold coolant enters here, is heated by the electric heating elements, and then flows directly out of the outlet.
