About Us

RV Heater is where you buy Vvkb heaters direct. There is no distributor and no reseller in between. The same company that builds the heater takes your order, ships it, and answers your email afterwards.

Most heaters sold online pass through two or three hands first. When one fails, the buyer finds out the seller was never an authorised dealer and cannot get parts or a straight answer from whoever made it. We sell our own product ourselves, so that gap does not exist here.

We build the heaters we sell

The factory behind Vvkb has built vehicle heaters since 1996, and diesel-fuelled heaters since 2003.

Engine block heaters came first. Diesel air and water heaters followed seven years later, back when parking heaters were still a niche product sold mostly in Europe. We watched this category go from a handful of factories to several hundred, and we know which corners get cut first when the price drops.

Being a manufacturer rather than a trading company is impossible to prove from a product photo. So everything on this page is written in a form you can check, and where we cannot back something up, we say so.

Why our heaters cost more than an $80 unit

You can buy a 5KW diesel air heater online for $56 to $80. That is real, and we are not going to pretend those units do not work.

Most of them do work, for a while. They come off a small number of shared production lines, get a different name printed on the box, and are priced to be thrown away rather than repaired. Parts are cheap because everyone uses the same ones.

We build to a different target. The combustion chamber is 2520 stainless steel, which holds its shape through repeated heat cycles instead of deforming. The ceramic glow plug is rated for cold starts down to -40°F (-40°C).

If the heater is your only heat source in a vehicle you sleep in, that difference is worth paying for. If you want occasional heat in a workshop, it may not be. We would rather you work that out honestly than buy from us and regret it.

Spare parts are the real warranty

Every heater we sell carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty. In practice, the thing that matters more is whether you can still get a glow plug two years from now.

Shipping a heater back across an ocean usually costs more than the heater did. Owners say the same thing on van and RV forums over and over: a warranty that requires a return is close to worthless, and the remedy that actually helps is a replacement part in the post.

So we keep parts for every model we have sold, including the ones we no longer make. Glow plugs, exhaust pipe, gaskets, fuel pumps and control boards are all on the site.

Email us the model number and a photo of the fault first. A large share of "dead heater" reports turn out to be air in the fuel line, restrictive exhaust routing, or voltage drop under glow-plug load. None of those need a new heater, and all three are quick to diagnose over email.

What each model is actually certified for

Every model we sell is CE certified. Past that, approvals differ by model, and we list them per product instead of making one claim for the whole catalogue.

E-mark, FCC and RoHS do not cover every unit we make. A blanket "fully certified" line stretched across an entire range usually means nobody checked the paperwork.

Send us the model number and we will email you the certificate for that exact unit. If there is no certificate for it, we will tell you that instead.

Where your order ships from

Orders are dispatched within 3 business days. Some items ship from our US fulfillment center and arrive quickly. Items sent direct from the factory take roughly 7–12 days after dispatch.

We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia and New Zealand. Delivery times, free-shipping thresholds and duty handling are set out in the Shipping Policy.

How to reach us

Email is the fastest way to get us, and it is the channel we actually answer: info@rvheater.com, every business day.

If you have written and heard nothing within two business days, write again. It means the message did not reach us.

Our full company registration details are available on request. Email us and we will send them.

Frequently asked questions

Are you the manufacturer or a reseller?

We are the manufacturer. RV Heater is the direct-sale store for Vvkb, and the factory that builds the units also handles your order and your email. There is no authorised-dealer question to worry about here, because there is no dealer.

Your heaters cost more than the ones on Amazon. What is actually different?

Materials and tolerances, mostly. The combustion chamber is 2520 stainless steel, and the ceramic glow plug is rated for starts at -40°F (-40°C). A $60 unit is built to a price and is usually cheaper to replace than to repair. If heat is optional for you, the cheap one may be the right call.

Do I have to ship the heater back if something goes wrong?

Usually not. Email info@rvheater.com with your order number and a photo or short video of the problem. Most faults are solved with a part. Where a return is genuinely required we give you the correct return address first, so please do not send anything back before contacting us.

Can I still get parts for a heater I bought years ago?

Yes. We keep glow plugs, gaskets, fuel pumps, exhaust pipe and control boards for every model we have sold, including discontinued ones. Send us the model number if you are not sure which part fits.

Which certifications does your heater hold?

Every model is CE certified. E-mark, FCC and RoHS vary by model, so we do not make a single claim for the whole range. Email us the model number and we will send you the certificate for that specific unit.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 3 business days. Items held at our US fulfillment center arrive fastest. Items shipped direct from the factory take about 7–12 days after dispatch. If timing matters, email us the model number before you order and we will confirm which applies.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Every heater carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover accident, freezing, flooding, corrosion or modification of the unit. A claim starts with an email, not a return shipment.
