Benefits of VVKB Engine Block Heater Titan-P3
Cold starts are the single biggest source of engine wear on trucks, tractors, and heavy diesel equipment. The Titan-P3 plugs into a standard outlet and circulates warm coolant through your entire engine block 30–60 minutes before you need it. No idling. No struggling starts. Just a warm engine, ready when you are.
Up to 2500W — matches your voltage and engine size
Running on 230V? You get up to 2500W — enough for large diesel trucks and tractors even at -40°F (-40°C). On 110V, up to 1500W still warms most pickup and medium-duty engines in 30–60 minutes.
90° inlet/outlet — fits where straight-through heaters don't
The inlet and outlet sit at a 90° angle, so you can mount the Titan-P3 in tight engine bays where standard heaters simply won't clear.
Built-in magnetic pump + dual thermostat — set it and forget it
The magnetic pump circulates coolant through your entire block, not just around the heater body. The dual thermostat cuts power at 149°F (65°C) and restarts at 113°F (45°C) automatically.
CE & TÜV certified — not a cheap clone
Aluminum die-cast body. 30 years of manufacturing behind it. Built to handle years of thermal cycling without cracking.
What Vehicles Does the Titan-P3 Fit?
The Titan-P3 is designed for larger engines that need more heating power. If your vehicle runs a diesel engine or has a high-displacement gas engine, this is your heater.
- Diesel pickup trucks — Ford Power Stroke, RAM Cummins, GM Duramax
- Semi trucks & commercial vehicles — long-haul rigs, delivery trucks, fleet vehicles
- Farm tractors — John Deere, Kubota, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson
- Construction & heavy equipment — excavators, loaders, bulldozers, generators
- Marine diesel engines — inboard boat engines, commercial vessels
- Large generators — standby and industrial diesel generators
The standard interface diameter is 5/8" (16mm). Need a different size? The Titan-P3 is also available with 3/4" and 1" fittings to match your coolant hose diameter.

How to Install the Titan-P3
Installation takes about 30–60 minutes. Follow these steps to make sure your heater works correctly from day one.
- Mount the heater at the lowest point of the engine — this lets coolant flow naturally into the heater and prevents air pockets from forming.
- Point the outlet upward or at an upward angle — the outlet must face up so air bubbles escape instead of getting trapped inside.
- Keep at least 4–6 inches (10–15cm) away from fuel lines — the heater body gets hot during operation.
- Bleed all air from the heater and hoses before first use — trapped air is the most common cause of installation problems. Fill slowly, tap the hoses, and check again.
- Never run the engine while the heater is plugged in — the engine pump creates pressure that pushes air back into the heater and can damage the heating element.
Use distilled water in your coolant mix. Tap water contains minerals that build up inside the magnetic pump and reduce its lifespan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Titan-P3 fit my Ford Powerstroke, Ram Cummins, or Chevy Duramax?
The Titan-P3 doesn't replace any factory block heater — it installs inline on your existing coolant hose, so it works on F-150/F-250/F-350 Powerstroke, Ram 1500/2500/3500 Cummins, Silverado 2500HD/3500HD Duramax, and any pickup with a coolant hose you can reach. The 90° elbow ports are specifically built for tight engine bays where a straight-through heater would force the hose into an awkward bend. Standard 5/8" (16mm) ports fit most truck hose diameters; if your engine uses 3/4" or 1" hose, select the matching adapter when you check out.
Does the Titan-P3 work on compact diesel tractors (Kubota, John Deere, Case IH, New Holland)?
Yes. The P3 fits compact and utility tractors in the 25–200 HP range — 3-cylinder Kubota, 4-cylinder John Deere, Case IH Farmall, and New Holland Boomer series included. Pick the wattage based on engine displacement: 1000W for 3-cylinder compacts, 1500W–2000W for 4-cylinder utility tractors. The 90° port design routes cleanly around alternators, starters, and side panels where space is tight.
Should I order the 110V or 230V version?
Order 110V if you plug into a standard North American outlet — at home, in a barn, or at a job site outlet (15-amp circuit). The 110V version maxes out at 1500W. Order 230V if you're in Europe, Australia, or running off industrial 230V power, or need 2000W–2500W of heat. A 240V outlet on a dedicated 20-amp circuit will run any P3 wattage.
How long should I plug in the heater before starting?
30 to 45 minutes is enough for most pickups and compact tractors, even down to -20°F (-29°C). The internal thermostats cycle the heater between 113°F and 149°F (45°C and 65°C) automatically, so leaving it plugged longer doesn't add more heat — it just runs up your electricity bill. Plug in 30–45 minutes before you start, then unplug once the engine fires.
Can I leave it plugged in 24/7 during winter storage?
No. While the dual thermostats prevent thermal runaway during normal use, no electric heating appliance should be left unattended for days or weeks. For seasonal storage, drain the cooling system or use a winter-grade coolant mix rated for your lowest expected temperatures. Plug the P3 in only when you're about to use the equipment — 30–45 minutes before starting is enough.
Why not just use a cheap magnetic stick-on heater?
Magnetic heaters stick to the side of your oil pan and warm the oil from outside — slow, inefficient, and they only heat a small area. The Titan-P3 circulates warm coolant through your entire engine block via a built-in 900 L/Hr pump, so every cylinder warms up evenly in 30–45 minutes. For diesels, where cold-start wear is most damaging in the first 30 seconds, the difference between "one corner warm" and "the whole block warm" matters.
My pump runs but the heater isn't getting hot — what's wrong?
This is almost always trapped air around the heating element, not a defect. Fix:
- Unplug the heater.
- Park on level ground or with the front of the vehicle slightly raised.
- Open the radiator cap and top off coolant.
- Start the engine (heater unplugged) and idle for 5 minutes with the cap off.
- Watch for air bubbles burping out. Top off as needed.
- Reinstall the cap, plug the heater back in.

Titan-P3 Internal Structure
The die-cast aluminum body houses the heating element, magnetic pump, and dual thermostat in one sealed unit. That means heat is distributed through your entire engine block — not just around the heater body.
Titan-P3 Dimensions
At 205 x 83 x 90mm (8.1" x 3.3" x 3.5"), the Titan-P3 fits trucks, tractors, and heavy equipment engine bays. Check these dimensions against your available mounting space before ordering.
Titan-P3 Installation Diagram
You have two options: connect the Titan-P3 in parallel with your existing heater, or splice it in series directly into your coolant hoses. Choose whichever fits your engine bay layout.
Titan-P3 Inlet & Outlet Ports
Getting the inlet and outlet orientation right is the most critical part of installation. The outlet must face upward so air bubbles escape naturally. Get this right and your heater runs without issues.
